What is the National Safety Stand-Down?


The 6th annual National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls takes place the week of May 6-10, 2019. The Stand-Down was conceived by OSHA in 2014 as part of the National Falls Campaign to raise awareness surrounding the severity of fall hazards in construction and the importance of preventing them.

Workforce Drug Positive Rate Hits 14-Year High


The U.S. rate of workforce drug positivity hit a 14-year high in 2018, according to a new analysis released April 11 by Quest Diagnostics. The company reported that positivity rates in the combined U.S. workforce increased nearly 5 percent in urine drug tests, climbing to the highest level since 2004.

Occupational Health Registered Nurse


Corporate Health Resources (CHR) is seeking an Occupational Health Registered Nurse to perform case management, arrange initial medical appointments for work-related illness/injury, and coordinate the medical surveillance program.

The job is full-time: two days/week in the Southern San Francisco area, 2 days/week in Sunnyvale, and 1 day/week in Redwood City. The company has signed a lease to consolidate all three locations in Southern San Francisco in 2020.

CEU and recertification reimbursements are available, along with an excellent benefits package. CHR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
