Nurse Auditor – Rockville, MD

Corporate Health Resources, Inc. (CHR) is looking for a full-time nurse auditor (NA) in the DC Metro area to to review completed medical records and provide clearance to our clients. The NA will be responsible for conducting audits/clearances of medical records based on the Health Care Professional’s Overview Criteria for the particular assigned client(s), as well as ensuring that current forms are being utilized and all protocol components are in guideline order, within range, and complete. The NA will be also accountable for identifying issues based upon HCP’s Overview Criteria, escalating problem cases accordingly to RNs, or if indicated, to the client’s Medical Department, and preparing case presentations as necessary for escalation to the Medical Examiner. The NA also must document notes in CHESS as reviews are processed.

The person in this role must understand client-specific clearance turnaround times, ensuring deadlines are promptly met or exceeded and must be aware of clients whose records are returned to them, and not stored at CHR. They must also be knowledgeable of special client projects with corresponding deadlines and document cases to spreadsheets as indicated per client. The NA must also sends clearance documentation to clients per their SOP and prepare records for shipment per client protocol.

The Nurse Auditor must interface with all staff within CHR and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • · Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a medical environment or physician office, with review of medical records.
      · AA Degree or equivalent preferred.
      · Must be detail oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize.
      · Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
      · Must have excellent organizational and customer service skills.
      · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
      · Must be knowledgeable of computer, MS Office applications and common office equipment.

Nurse Case Manager – Rockville, MD

Corporate Health Resources, Inc. (CHR) is looking for a full-time nurse case manager (NCM) in the DC Metro area to provide case management services to our nationwide clients. The NCM will be responsible for documenting all activities using a web-based case management system and for identifying and obtaining all documentation pertinent to the examinees recovery plan. The NCM, who reports to CHR’s Program Manager, will be also accountable for maintaining an assigned caseload and will be required to follow company and client protocols.

Through daily consultations with practitioners, employer representatives, and examinees, the NCM will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate options and services to meet the health and return-to-work needs of workers as related to personal (i.e. short-term disability) and/or workers’ compensation cases. The person in this role must have working knowledge of travel health assessments, expatriation, executive programs, return to work, and post-accidents cases involving occupational health-related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • · Must hold an unrestricted state RN license.
      · Must hold other state licenses/certifications as required by law, as needed.
      · Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
      · Must have 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
      · 3+ years of case management in Workers’ Compensation/THA/Expat/Occupational Health/Disability preferred.
      · CCM or COHN desired or obtained after 12 months from the hire date.
      · Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
      · Must have excellent organizational skills.
      · Must have the ability to set priorities and work independently.
      · Must have a willingness and ability to travel (local and national).
      · Computer literacy required, specifically in Microsoft Excel.

Occupational Health Nurse – Rockville, MD

Corporate Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to work in our Rockville, MD office. This is a NON-CLINICAL position; all work is performed via computer and telephone. Under general supervision, the Occupational Health Nurse/Case Manager has responsibility for the delivery of case management services to the employees of CHR clients. Case management may include pre-employment physical assessment, periodic examinations, fitness-for-duty determinations, return-to-work evaluations, case management of maritime employees out on medical leave, short-term disability, long-term disability, and others as related to occupational health.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • · Bachelor’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      · Fully unencumbered registered nursing license required, preferably in compact state
      · COHN, COHN-S, CAOHC, and/or case management certification desired
      · Proficiency with computer software programs (including MS Office) and common office equipment required
      · Must be able to multitask, be flexible, and maintain organization while being exceptionally attentive to detail
      · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering excellence in customer service
