Occupational Health Nurse
Corporate Health Resources (CHR) is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to perform case management, arrange initial medical appointments for work-related illness/injury, and coordinate the medical surveillance program.
The job is full-time: two days/week in the Southern San Francisco area, 2 days/week in Sunnyvale, and 1 day/week in Redwood City. The company has signed a lease to consolidate all three locations in Southern San Francisco in 2020.

New research investigates the causes of seafaring injuries and accidents and finds that injury reduction campaigns focused on personal protective equipment (PPE) would be most effective at reducing risks to workers.
A recent study reports that emergency response workers are much more likely to suffer injury and assault on the job. These injuries and assault are also likely largely underreported, researchers suspect.
Stories include workplace interventions for intimate partner violence, care workers' experiences of verbal abuse in clients' homes, and muscle resistance training and MSDs.
